Bachelor's degrees (or equivalent) from universities are all accepted, although others without a degree can also take the course as well provided they demonstrate a good command of English and are comfortable with the challenging requirements of successful course completion. No prior teaching experience is required. In order for non-native speakers to be accepted, they must demonstrate an exceptional command of the English language either through test scores such as the TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, or (as a minimum) the FCE or through an interview.

Volunteer work, previous teaching, instructional, or other relevant experience, knowledge of a second language other than English, and/or overseas travel experience or experience living and working in a foreign country will also help your chances of being accepted onto the course.
